Eileen L. Ollivier

Eileen is an associate in Burke’s Los Angeles office where she practices public law.  Eileen represents and advises cities and other public agencies on a variety of municipal law and constitutional law matters. She has experience prosecuting and defending cases on behalf of public entities in areas of law, including, code enforcement, criminal nuisance activity, inverse condemnation, constitutional law and civil rights litigation, and premises liability. Eileen serves as counsel for the City of San Marino Design Review Commission. She regularly advises cities and public agencies on the Brown Act and the California Public Records Act and revises and drafts ordinances.

Eileen earned her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law with a concentration in government law, and a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. In law school, Eileen interned at the San Francisco City Attorney’s office and the ACLU of Northern California, and externed for San Francisco Superior Court Judge Andrew Y.S. Cheng in the Complex Litigation Department.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Eileen was a community organizer for a direct services non-profit, where she advocated and lobbied for legislative reform surrounding racial justice and economic empowerment.
