Al Ford and Tiffiny Fox to Address Key CA Employment Law and Diversity Topics at CMCP Annual Business Conference

Burke Labor and Employment Law partner Algeria R. Ford will co-present ‘Maneuvering the Maze: Navigating California Employment Law Changes in 2024’ as a panel member on Thursday, September 12 from 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm at the California Minority Counsel Program Annual Business Conference.  This panel session will analyze top employment law issues for 2024, including workplace harassment, the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act; the latest overtime rule; and strategies for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.  Other panel members will include Christina Dixon, Managing Shareholder, Aecus Law; Tyree Jones, Partner, Reed Smith LLP; and Abiel Wong, Counsel, Chevron Corporation.

Burke Litigation partner Tiffiny M. Fox will co-present ‘Why Diversity Matters in the Wake of the Anti-Woke Movement’ as a panel member on Thursday, September 12 from 3:45 pm to 5:00 pm at the CMCP Annual Business Conference. This panel session will focus on the importance of diversity in the midst of the current anti-woke movement in the U.S. Other panel members will include Audrea Golding, Partner, Fragomen Worldwide; Heather Vigil, Office Managing Shareholder, Littler Mendelson, P.C.; and James Wang, Senior Corporate Counsel; Autodesk Inc.
