Michaela Battista Sozio

Michaela Sozio has over 29 years of experience as a courtroom litigator.  She has extensive experience in all areas defending corporate and individual clients in a variety of complex litigation matters, including catastrophic personal injury claims and wrongful death, negligence, premises liability and dangerous condition actions, and defending public entities in these types of actions. Michaela also has significant experience handling intellectual property claims (copyright and trademark infringement, misappropriation of likeness), defamation, trade disparagement, products liability, business torts, breach of contract, and other litigated matters.

Michaela also has experience monitoring litigation and providing case evaluations for excess insurance carriers of defendants in high-exposure court actions, and advising commercial entities on issues related to risk management.
