Christine A. Revelo-Lee

Christine Revelo-Lee is a senior associate in Burke’s Litigation Practice Group, focusing primarily on civil rights, constitutional law, and government tort liability.

Before joining the firm, Christine was an experienced trial attorney with a strong background in both criminal defense and prosecutions. She has worked as both a Deputy Public Defender and Assistant District Attorney, and has a wealth of experience working in and around the criminal legal and carceral systems.

Christine also has experience in civil and administrative law, having externed for the Honorable Jorge L. Alonso at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and having worked on behalf of labor unions. While externing at the EEOC, she managed discovery for a large class-action lawsuit and trained attorneys in statistical analysis, bolstering arguments at the summary judgement phase.

In law school, Christine competed at the national level as a trained negotiator and moot court competitor. She also has substantial background in alternative dispute resolution techniques and experience working for and within local governments.

Balancing her strategic advocacy skills with a client-centered approach to her cases, Christine’s comprehensive legal expertise makes her a formidable advocate for clients facing serious legal challenges.
